As old people, we loved the convenience of having a private room with a double bed and bunk beds. The room had a fridge and microwave, as well as hanging space for clothes. The location was perfect for us as there were plenty of shops within walking distance. The common room with ping pong and pool tables added to the fun atmosphere. Parking in the basement was hassle-free.
Felt really good, no complaints.

I recently stayed at Banana Bungalow in West Hollywood for a few nights and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, combining the trendy vibes of West Hollywood with the luxury of Beverly Hills. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations and directions for exploring the area. The hostel had a laid-back and chill atmosphere, with amenities like a kitchen, game area, and party spaces. The social events each night were a blast, and I met some really interesting people. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the waterproof and bug-proof mattress. The outdoor area was a great place to relax and even had a charging station. a wonderful stay!
I would recommend this hotel.

Great stay over Christmas! The room was spacious and clean, with a little balcony for some fresh air. The staff were helpful, arranging a free ride when our taxi took us to the wrong place. We loved the mixer parties, a fun way to meet new people. The location was convenient, with a bus stop nearby to take us to popular tourist spots. Plus, having parking available was a big plus for exploring the city on our own.
There were a few minor issues during our stay. The breakfast options were limited to toast and cereal, and the plates and bowls were disposable.

As youngsters, we loved the friendly staff, the awesome atmosphere, and the willingness of the people to help. The front desk staff was always happy and ready to offer directions and advice. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a great shower. The comfortable bunks and the room's patio door allowed us to enjoy the California sun. The yummy breakfast and the availability of tours and shuttle connections were a plus. And let's not forget the super social vibe, with unlimited alcohol and pizza nights in the courtyard where people stayed up chatting and partying. Free parking was also a bonus.
Felt spoilt, nothing too much trouble.

The room I stayed in had a balcony, queen bed, private ensuite, and a flat screen TV. It was a great value for the price. The room was clean and spacious, with a bar fridge and wifi. The location was fantastic, with lots to do in the area. It was walking distance to popular attractions like Melrose and the Walk of Fame.
Some of the staff seemed unhelpful and unprofessional. The check-in process was a bit slow.

The hostel is nicely laid out with lots of things to do. The large dorm room has separating walls for privacy, and it also has a massive common room and 3 bathrooms connected to it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You can even book excursions through the hostel and enjoy cheap food cooked on-site. The location is within walking distance to various attractions and there is parking available for those with cars.
The "included breakfast" is lacking, with limited options like small muffins and oats.

I loved staying at Banana Bungalow West Hollywood Hotel & Hostel! The location was perfect, just a short distance from Canters Deli and about 2 miles from Holly Blvd. Although it was a bit of a walk, I found it more convenient to use Uber or a car to get around. The hostel itself was fantastic, with friendly and informative staff who helped me navigate the area. I especially enjoyed the party and BBQ with free food and beer upon arrival. My private room was spacious and well-equipped, complete with a TV, fridge, and a working shower. I also had a balcony where I could relax and enjoy a drink. I highly recommend this hostel as it offers a quieter and less touristy experience compared to others in Hollywood.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to many food options and in a safe area. The room was spacious and had plenty of parking available, which was a bonus.- The surroundings were safe, which was a relief given the reputation of the city.
The air conditioning in the room was not working properly and it took a day for it to be fixed. This made the stay uncomfortable.

It was a great value for the money paid. The hotel offered free shuttles to the beach and a variety of fun activities each weekday, such as free food and beer, karaoke, wine tasting, and a party shuttle with a BBQ. The location was convenient, with the Melrose Flea Market across the street on Sundays. The wifi was strong, and the price was affordable. I also appreciated the simple breakfast included in my stay.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
